The environmental footprint of food and nutrition

How can the consumer make the best decisions regarding food, both in terms of the environment and in terms in nutritional quality?

Should these elements be combined, for example, as a one label, which fits in the packaging, or should they be informed in other way – how? Are environment and nutrition equally as interesting?

Of the elements of sustainability, the carbon footprint is already visible. Other elements are biodiversity, eutrophication and the water footprint. How would they be taken into account?
