Titus Van Der Spek

Titus is a lecturer, researcher and coach who focusses on exploring the creation of blended environmental, social and commercial value. Titus completed his PhD in 2018 from the University of Essex in the UK entitled Exploring the crux of Social Entrepreneurship – The pursuit of blended value creation. Prior to joining academia, Titus worked in the field of entrepreneurship and development consulting for 6 years. His clients include: Amnesty International, the Clean Clothes Campaign (CCC), Action Aid NL, SOS Children’s Villages, Oxfam Novib, and The European Commission. He is currently a lecturer in business management at The Hague University of Applied Sciences and guest lecturer at the TU Delft and Leiden University. 

On Sprint Tuesday 16.11. Titus will explore how different entrepreneurs are innovating through unique business models to create commercial, social and environmental value all at once. He will also discuss the importance of embracing the SDGs if you want to be a future-proof company.
